EnSky wins "Best Bank Website" for StMarysBank.com
[10/01/02] EnSky Corporation -- Rochester, NH- Called a "Work of Art" by the judges, StMarysBank.com was named today the "Best Bank Website" in the International 2002 WebAward Competition sponsored by the Web Marketing Association. The site was created by EnSky Corporation, a new media design agency headquartered in Rochester, NH.
"We were elated with the news that St. Mary's Bank won the Best Bank Website award. We are very proud of the design, and to be recognized as the top website for the whole banking industry is a great honor for both EnSky and St. Mary's. The WebAwards are a major international competition - for us it's like winning an Oscar or a Grammy," said David Flood, president of EnSky.
Established in 1997, the WebAward Competition is an annual contest that judges corporate websites against their industry peers according to an Internet standard of quality. StMarysBank.com earned high marks in each judging category: design, innovation, content, technology, interactivity, navigation, and ease of use, scoring 68 out of 70 possible points. "Kudos! A work of art. Super use of technology," commented one member of the Web Marketing Association's judging panel who reviewed the various bank website entries. "Hats off to the design team."
Since the launch of the redesign in April, St. Mary's website has been praised by customers for its design and ease of use. Susan Osborne, marketing specialist at St. Mary's Bank said, "We are very proud of this award. Our strategy and vision of the redesign was to position the site as the premier web site for banking and provide useful information in a clean, professional manner that is easy to understand and locate. EnSky's talent brought that vision to fruition." The new website is phase one of the credit union's new corporate branding endeavor."
This is EnSky's first "Best of Industry" award. Previous corporate winners include Disney, IBM, and British Airways.
