EnSky Announces Full-Service Advertising Capabilities
[11 - 04] EnSky Corporation -- Rochester, NH David Flood, President and CEO, announced EnSky's new capabilities at the Seacoast Expo October 28th. "EnSky has at one time or another over its almost 10-year history provided every aspect of creative services provided by an advertising agency; it's a natural evolution for us."
Founded in 1995, EnSky intial service offerings were desktop publishing and computer training and consulting on the Mac side. In 1996, EnSky began to offer website design and development services and by 1997 was focusing on web and new media creative services. In 2000, EnSky began experimenting with video on the web, deploying video content in a variety of file formats from Quicktime to Windows Media and Real Video.
Later, from 2002 through 2004, as demand for web design and Flash waned, EnSky shifted its creative efforts to other media including print again, and a new interest in broadcast.
In the Fall of 2004, EnSky officially launched their first creative efforts in television, creating commercial ads for both EnSky ("Bad websites happen to good companies" campaign) and for local pizza chain "Blue Loon".
"EnSky is different than some traditional advertising agencies whose fundamental core experience is branding and marketing and who tap outside firms who specialize in web or tv production," Flood continued. "EnSky doesn't have to subcontract these services to outside firms, having the experience and tools available in-house. We are a one-stop shop for all the things a company or organization looks for in an ad agency as far as capabilities and experience. Not to say that we won't still offer project-based business in one communication medium like TV, print or web and work with companies who have an agency of record. We just felt that it was time to make the distinction, to open the door for a broader creative relationship with our existing customers and for our new customers, enabling them to throw more projects than just web design our way."
